Land Rover Defender - PUMA Style Bonnet (Genuine)
These are the last and final type of bonnet fitted to the 2007+ Land Rover Defenders with the "Puma" engine.
These bonnets have the distinctive center bonner "bulge" and make a great upgrade to any Defender.
This is a Genuine Land Rover item supplied in retail packing.
The item has a black primer coat but this will need rubbing down before priming, painting and fitting.
This bonnet does not come with the rear hinges or bonnet stay or bonnet release parts - all these can be swapped from your existing bonnet.
This bonnet is made from steel which all the later bonnets were made from.
We do also supply a bonnet "skin" that converts the old bonnet to look like this later Puma type - see related items.
Fitting details:
- To remove a Land Rover Defender bonnet you simply need to open it fully so it is nearly touching the windscreen and then lift it up - this is a 2 man job.
- Don't forget to disconnect the bonnet stay mechanism.
- Swap the bonnet release mechanism / bonnet stay / hinges from you old bonnet to the new bonnet.
